Dr. Nihal BERKER ATLI

Nihal Berker Atlı graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Law in 1995 and got her master’s degree at the same university. Nihal completed her PhD studies at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences Private Law Doctorate Program. Nihal is experienced especially in oil and gas law, privatizations, mergers and acquisitions and international arbitration. She took active role in the several oil and gas pipeline projects from the commencement stage to job completion. She has extensive knowledge on oil and natural gas market activities; including international taxation regarding these activities, structuring, drafting, negotiating gas importation and sales contracts as well as construction and infrastructure agreements. Recently she acted as contracted legal counsel to a global technology company and advised them on matters such as compliance, data privacy and public tender laws. Also have a special interest on immigration matters from the beginning of her legal career and currently taking part in a European Union funded project as an expert legal counsel. She is fluent in English.
